What will you do for National Scrapbooking Day? Here are some ideas:
1. Have a party with your scrapbooking friends! No friends invite scrapbooking? Teach a friend of your love! Tell them to make some pictures and you share your supplies! What more could you ask for the camaraderie and scrapbooking!?
2. Or, scrap alone! The point of National Scrapbooking Day is to celebrate our hobby!
3. Spend time rearranging Scrapbook your area to maximize your space. We all know that the organization is the key to efficiency and storage of equipment tends to be overwhelming to every scrapbooker. So, take time to organize your storage space will reap huge profits when it comes to a layout or card. In addition, you'll probably inspired by unearthing forgotten scrapbooking embellishments!
4. Inspire you to learn a technique. Look through magazines to find something you've always wanted to try and apply it to a layout scrapbooking.
To start, here few embellishments scrapbooking ideas you can incorporate into your scrapbooking layout:
* Buttons – buttons with clear line of coordinating paper
* Ribbon – Ribbon wire around chipboard, add it to the journaling spots, or use it to frame a picture
* Brads – Brads use to make an initial or monogram, as the center of flowers, or wet mini-albums, albums or accordion fold-out album
* Embossing – are the subject of beautification by layering embossing powder in a mound (heating between the layers) and by pushing a rubber stamp in in the still hot embossing powder
* Stamping – make a new briefing paper by using 1st, 2nd and 3rd generation the press (the first impression is striking with a freshly inked stamped second impression is striking immediately after the stamping first without re-inking and printing is hitting third for the third time without re-inking)
* Distressing – using white heart Close To My Heart cardstock, score your paper with your instrument rating on your cut-paper, then sand the top layer to reveal patterns Single
* Chipboard – chipboard used as an embellishment scrapbooking in titles such as photo corners to embellish tags, and cover mini-album
* The liquid glass – Add liquid glass to the top of the stamped image of a polished embellishments scrapbooking
* Suture / Fashion – either freehand or with a sewing machine, sewing projects gives a hint craft
* Doodling – add some to your work doodle along accentuate your page or cut out the doodles to use as embellishments scrapbooking
* Jewels, sequins, glitter and rhinestones – Added some sparkley bling to your service and will present the intensity of your design!
* Logging hidden – if you do not like your writing or if you prefer not to highlight on a layout, hide behind a piece of paper or photograph
* Painting – paint to use to create an effective multi-dimensional plan on cardstock or otherwise use textured cardstock to add another dimension!
5. Or, if you can simply not be motivated to create a new provision Scrapbook: scraplift! Find inspiration in the Close To My Heart (CTMH) Summer 2009 Idea Book or browse a gallery of scrapbooking pages and make your layout together!
6. If all else fails, there is nothing like shopping for new products to motivate you to create!
