What are the training requirements for all ranks cub scout leader?
I'm looking on the web for a list of all training requirements Facilitators for each cub rank. Every page I see some say the general requirements. Leader Essentials and Leader Specific training. But I want to know what classes are known and have listed Leader Rank (Wolf Leader, Bear Leader). I would like to know what the insignia is attributed to the leader after the end of each course. If a book or page were avaiable that looked exactly like the Handbook Cub Scout huts box to view the requirement was complete, it would be perfect! If someone knows a website that is easy to read and makes it all understandable Please respond. Thank you in advance!
The training process is as follows: All officers consider the Fast Start video appropriate for their program (Cubs, Scouts or Venture), participate in the Youth Protection training (or check online) and attend New Leader Essentials, which is the same for all programs. Then they follow the leader specific training for their work. For Cub Scouts, training specific leader is Tiger Cub Leader, Cub Scout Den Leader and Asst. (for the wolf and the Bear), Webelos Den Leader and Asst., Cubmaster and Asst. and Pack Committee Members. After have completed training for your job, you receive a "trained" band to wear under your postage stamp. If you change roles, you should attend leader specific training for your new role (eg if you go from being a den leader to cubmaster, you participate in training cubmaster). You do not need to attend New Leader Essentials again. Some other badges can be earned by adults (various recognitions node) who require training in the process, but also on other factors besides training. You may want to check this site, but if you are still confused I encourage you to attend the round table and ask to speak with your district president of training, he or she should be able to answer all your questions. He is a leader in advanced training courses for adults called Wood Badge, which requires that you complete the basic training for your position before taking the course. After completing all the requirements for wood badge, you receive a special scarf, slide (or "Woggle") and a pair logs on a leather strap.
