While New Look using multi-size patterns, is the seam allowance included in the section lines?
When he says there is a seam allowance that this means that it will be included within the lines cut for my size? In addition, im having issues with the sizing. I wear a size 00 XXS in jeans and tops, I bought a multi-size model for the junior size 3 / 4, but when I took my measurements on the ground that said I should do on 9 / 10, what does everyone recommend?
Yes, the seam allowances are included. And if your actions were accurate (and measured on underwear, not clothing), you need to make the model specified. You measure 32/25/35? Or let yourself be persuaded. Measure a similar garment you now have and the model (remember to deduct the seam allowance!). Pattern sizing has very little to do with the ready to wear sizing. Pattern sizes are stable since the 1970s, while ready to wear has been ever lower on their Label size – size model and ready to wear sizes have been standardized in the 70s, but ready to wear has changed their numbers since then.
