Can I use eye drops regularly, while wearing contact lenses every day?
I always heard that You should not use the eye drops while wearing contact lenses because eye drops are retained on the surface of contact. But if I 'm throwing them out every day and only the application of drops 2-3 times daily. Is it safe?
You certainly can wear lenses while putting in eye drops, but that depends on the collapse of the eye. Try to get eye drops specifically for contact, because it contains no benzalkonium chloride (BAK). BAK is a preservative in most solutions of eye drops. Recently, doctors have found BAK, detergent loaded positively, binds to the negatively charged surface of contact lenses causing redness and irritation. If you must use eye drops containing BAK in First, put in drops and wait 10-15 minutes to put your lenses on, you should be fine then. All BAK dissolves in the eye in 5 minutes. Thus, you should be good after 10-15 minutes. Hope this helps.
