Hey, who dies? And with the stock market crash <strong> </ strong>, many are accelerating the process. Yesterday, six people were found dead in an upscale home in the Porter Ranch area of San Fernando Valley, where the husband distraught on finances, killed his wife, mother-in-law and three children. Then he killed himself. Stories are popping up every week now that the increases economic trauma.
Whether we are in turbulent economic waters, there is no doubt, but this is not where I go.
I am dying to my self <strong> false </ strong>, but I'll come and live in self <strong> real </ strong> the Spirit who lives within and without: the Christos. The journey of life is one of turning on entering an understanding of who we are and developing an awareness of Christ <em> </ em>. The apostle Paul saw it and wrote: "You're dead <em> </ em >…" Ah, if only we were. Some die sooner than others, but most are doing everything they can to stay alive!
Paul went on to finish the sentence, saying: "You're dead and your life is hidden with Christ in God."
To me, this translates into a lifestyle practice that looks something like this (no formula now). Awaken every morning to the joy you're still here. Thank <strong> </ Strong> Creator for even one more day to enable him to live in and through us. <strong> Request </ strong> Spirit what he would like to experience today. God Spirit-Consciousness-being, I am life is manifested through us.
Then the whole day make occasional checks.
My child, as often refrain during the day is the question "Whatcha thinkin?". I want to know the "thoughts of my Creator." How does he do with my day. Remember, this is the thought of God, the Father <strong> </ strong>, is where all life starts, give the word of faith spoken by <strong> Son </ strong> and materialized by the Spirit <strong>. </ Strong> The Trinity <em> </ em> has some features of real life beyond being a creed intellectualized you know!
Following something like the above means that I must <strong> DIE </ strong> to be totally absorbed in what I WANT <strong> </ strong>. Neither you or I were created just to spend such a life in Self Indulgence. Life is about self, but until we <strong> DIE </ strong> or embark on the path of death to the false self, we will never enter into the realization that we all seek, consciously or not.
Self-preservation is a deeply rooted human trait. Just ask ego!
